In the summer of 2009 a group of intrepid explorers from The Warriner School, Bloxham will undertake an expedition to Uganda. The expedition is being run by Far Frontiers; for more information on them please go here.
This blog will contain the essential information; who’s going, why they’re doing it, where they will be visiting, what they will experience and how they will impact both Uganda and their home school community.
Students will be able to check out how their friends are doing, track the progress during the expedition (via this blog and through Google Earth) and hear from the team on their return to the UK.
Parents can find out about the preparations (including the latest fundraising efforts!), learn more about Uganda and keep in touch while the team are away. It is also a place to point potential sponsors to.
Teachers of different curriculum areas interested in understanding more about the global dimension of education will find resources and information to enhance lessons.
